A rare find this- American Eagle Club Sterling silver brooch with red guilloche enamel & three pendant stars.
The club was formally opened on December 17th 1940 by General Wade Hayes for use by Americans in London serving with the British & Canadian Armed Forces. Charing Cross Road.
Genealogical interest- Inscribed to M Ginsberg Mar 1942. The three stars possibly representing three of the same family in service.
Tested- no marks
Small scuff on eagles chest otherwise in good condition
